Jack Horner
Hall of Fame, Class of 1992
Jack Horner, being honored for his bowling ability, has rolled six 300
games, three 299 games and one 298 game in sanctioned
competition. He was a finalist on Big 3 TV in 1965. He won
the WV match game championship in 1965 and 1966, and the SE Ohio match
game championship in 1967.
Other tournament championships
include: Top Dog of Ren Dor Lanes 1981, Masters champion at Ted and
Ed's Pro Bowl, Parkersburg Open (Professional), 700 Club Tourney in
Louisville, and PBA Qualifiers at Emerson Lanes (Parkersburg), Amos
Lanes (Columbus), and Imperial Lanes (Toledo). More recently, Jack has joined the Seniors Tour, and has been in the top 16 many
times. He ranked 14th in points for seniors in 1989, averaging
206.9 that year.
A member of the Parkersburg Hall of Fame, he is
very deserving of election to the WV State Bowling Hall of Fame.
