Galen J. Gauntlett
Hall of Fame, Class of 1996
A bowler for 43 years, Galen has served as director, Morgantown Bowling Association for 5 years,
secretary/treasurer-executive director for 18 years, state tournament manager twice, Zone 2 state
director, and Inspection Coordinator. He has been a member of various leagues as secretary/treasurer
in Morgantown for many years.
Galen is a very knowledgeable leader that is dedicated and
committed to his responsibilities. Galen is also a trusted financial
leader. He is president of the Morgantown/Fairmont Chapter of Credit
Unions. He is assistant treasurer on the board of directors and chair of
the credit committee of the Morgantown AES Federal Credit Union.
He is
life member Good Will Fire Company, Pottsville PA, Pulaski Lodge F&AM,
National Institute of Certified Engineering Technicians, and Marklin Model
Train Club. His hobbies are woodworking crafts and miniature trains.
