Donald R. Lipscomb

Hall of Fame, Class of 2004



      Don Lipscomb has bowled for over 35 years and has participated in the West Virginia State Bowling Association for 14 consecutive years where he has been one of the more active contributors. He is an Engineering Technician for the WV Dept. of Transportation and enjoys amateur radio in addition to his bowling hobby.

      He has held the positions of 1st and 2nd Vice President in the West Virginia State Bowling Association and has served as Tournament Director for the State Bowling Tournament. He has held numerous leadership positions within the Kanawha Valley Bowling Association including 2 terms as the Association Director and has served as the Executive Director for 13 years.

      He is active in organizations outside of bowling and has served as a Cub Scouts Leader, a Boy Scout Leader, and a member of the WV Youth Orchestra Steering Committee. Don is a skilled bowler with a high season average of 208, a high game of 279 and a high series of 748.
